From western Kefalonia island, with the characteristic clay soil, we (the heteroclito team) together with Sarris P. chose to vinify the local variety Vostilidi from an old vineyard. We indicated the use of mild cultivation to the producer, we followed natural vinification methods with minimum sulfites (40mg/L) and the wine aged in used barrel for a year. The result is a wine from raw material of good quality with minimal intervention, that reveals the wine tradition of the island and our love for the authentic taste. Aromas of stone fruits, with notes of vanilla and toffee. Character of citrus fruits and nuts in the mouth, accentuated acidity and long lasting aftertaste.
