Vineyards located higher than 900 meters, in between the high cliffs of mounts Grammos, Vernos and Askio (in win- tertime, temperature drops to -20oC), where temperature dif- ference between day and night exceeds 20oC. Whole bunch vinification in clay amphorae and stay for two months. Minimum sulfuration and immediate bottling, unfiltered, no intervention. Aromas of kumquat, ripe peach, orange peel, jasmine and mint. Noticeable tannins on the mouth, sharp acidity and persistent aftertaste. Rare and robust, a charac- teristic sample of this type.
